ALEXANDER FORBES
Commercial design

The existing client and staff interface atrium at the Head Office in Sandton does not take advantage of the expansive floorplates due to random, organic planters scattered across the space. In addition the meeting rooms surrounding the atrium are not keeping up with the high demand. We proposed a redesign of the floorspace to introduce a Business Centre, retail offering and coffeeshop to create a vibrant hub within the once empty ground floor. This creates business opportunities in a previously unused space and also eases the demand on the meeting rooms by making informal meeting areas available. The refurbishment also includes a new canteen concept, expanded Medical suites, Technozone, training rooms and meeting rooms.
