Heartspace is an Interior Design firm that puts heart into everything they do. The founders, Gisela and Bernadine, worked in a corporate design environment collectively for 20 years. This provided them with the experience to handle large and complex projects, and in starting Heartspace, they are able to give these projects the love and attention that comes from a small, owner run business. Their mission is to create environments that are meaningful not only to their clients, but also to the people involved in building these spaces. Heartspace offers services globally, is passionate about supporting local communities and strive to involve small local businesses wherever possible. In doing this, they design and build spaces that do good and feel good.

Spaceplanning

They also conduct test-fits to confirm that an organisation can comfortably fit into a particular location before committing to a lease.

Interior Design

Heartspace designs spaces based on the client’s brand, vision, and budget. They create detailed 3D renders and video flythroughs to help clients fully visualise the final design and ensure it meets their expectations. The design is then translated into comprehensive construction documentation, including details on materials, finishes, and construction methods.

Furniture

Heartspace sources furniture and décor tailored to the client’s design aesthetic and budget. They carefully select and custom make pieces that complement the overall vision, style and functionality. They offer services to refurbish and re-use existing furniture to align with the new design. This comprehensive approach ensures that every element of the interior is both cohesive and cost-effective.

Build

Heartspace provides a turnkey service that manages every phase of a project, from conception to completion. Their team ensures a smooth process by handling everything from design to construction with precision. Working with a trusted network of reliable contractors, they guarantee quality and coordination throughout.
